The former chief financial officer of Dr. Ho and CEO of CWC Gaming, Adam Anhang, was brutally stabbed to death on September 23, 2005 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was only 32.
On Friday night, NBC Dateline investigated the murder case, who asked Anhang his father, Abraham, who insisted that the woman was at stake, but has never known justice.
The murder occurred at an intersection of Calle de la Luna in Historic Old San Juan, which is usually busy with tourists and locals (even at the time of this murder took place). Anhung was also owns part of the Martineau Bay Resort & Spa (a former Wyndham property soon in the Caribbean to become the first W Hotel) in Vieques, eight miles off the east coast of Puerto Rico.
A bar employee was arrested on suspicion of murder in Anhang's slaying.
Jonathan Romain Rivera, 22, had worked as a cleaning person at the Pink Skirt, a restaurant and bar owned by the wife of Puerto Rican Adam Anhang. In an interview with Dateline NBC, Rivera said he did not know Aurea Vazquez, ex-wife of Adam.
Puerto Rico's Attorney General Roberto Sanchez Ramos said the person responsible for the death of Adam Anhang American come to justice because one thing favours the prosecution.
"Puerto Rico does not have a statute of limitations," he said. "We will continue to investigate, because we are not satisfied that we have all the facts."
